Following the refurbishment, Ty Newydd now boasts excellent access for those with impaired mobility.

There are two car parks, one main car park and a single car park close to the mobility impaired bedroom. Both these car parking spaces are clearly signposted. From the main car park a level footpath leads all the way to the front door of the new Conservatory, a distance of approximately 15 metres. From there (the ground floor) access can be gained to the lower floor and through a door to the Dining Room, or the basement flloor (and toilet) or the upper floor and through a door to the Library. Most group sessions are held in the Dining Room or Library. From the lower floor access can be gained to the garden through a set of double doors.

Ty Newydd has both single and shared (two in a room) accommodation. We also have one room adapted for a mobility impared participant or tutor, with room for a carer if required.

Single rooms are always popular and we suggest that if this is important to you that you check availability before booking. The twin rooms are all large rooms and almost all rooms are en-suite.
