Festivals and Outreach Events

Ty Newydd Festival is a biennial weekend festival. The next festival will be held in April 2007. An annual Gwyl Gynganeddu is held in November. This celebrates the Welsh form of strict metre poetry and while most of the festival is in Welsh there is usually a session that explains Cynghanedd to a non Welsh-speaking audience. This year the festival will be held on November 24rth - 26th.

We also work closely with Galeri and often arrange readings and litrary events there.
