Ty Newydd courses in English for 2006.

There are courses for poets, novelists, script and screenwriters, playwrights, storytellers and journalists. If you are inexperienced there are Starting to Write courses and a variety of courses for more experienced writers. Sally Baker, the centre director, is always pleased to advise on the suitability of courses.

The fee for a four and a half day course (Mon. - Sat.):Single room £450 Shared room £400
N.B. Some course fees vary so please check each individual course
Fees include all workshops, tutorials, readings, accommodation and meals.

Note that the following courses are priced differently:

  • Writers' Retreat and Writer in Residence £325
  • Extended Poetry Course (Course 7) and the Advanced Fiction (Course 16)-  £490 single room, £440 shared room
