JULIA BELL has published two novels for young adults; Massive and Dirty Work (Young Picador). Her new novel Wise Up! will be published in 2011.  She has also co-edited the Creative Writing Coursebook (Macmillan) and she is a senior lecturer on the MA Creative Writing course at Birkbeck in London.  She is also a former Tŷ Newydd student. www.juliabell.net

NIALL GRIFFITHS was born in Liverpool in 1966 and has been resident in mid-Wales for 15 years. He is the author of six novels and three non-fiction books and more radio plays and short stories and travel pieces and reviews than he cares to count. Now working on a seventh novel, called A Great Big Shining Star.
