ADVANCED DRAMA
August 10-15 • David Britton and Jessica Dromgoole

 Residential: £495 (single); £435 (shared)

This intensive course will concentrate on the development of one-off drama scripts, for stage and radio.  Participants should have had at least one script broadcast, published or performed.  They should bring with them a work-in-progress for practical development during the week.  There will be a maximum of 12 students on this course.

The course will feature a session with ALISON HINDELL, Head of Radio Drama at the BBC in London.  There may be an opportunity for work to be read by professional actors at the end of the week.

DAVID BRITTON is an award winning writer and director for stage, screen and radio whose radio plays have featured extensively on BBC Radio 4 and 3 and have been produced internationally.

JESSICA DROMGOOLE is a producer for BBC Radio Drama.  After ten years working as a theatre director, specialising in new writing, and as literary manager of Paines Plough, Jessica joined the BBC, introducing talented writers to the networks and the BBC to writers.
