Forthcoming events:

New Narratives: 2010 Academi Conference
Saturday 27 & Sunday 28 February 2010
Gellifawr Hotel and Cottages, Gwaun Valley, Pembrokeshire

New Narratives is an Academi conference that explores some of the ways Wales is currently using literature to reinterpret, to refashion and to retell. Should we ever be done with our greatest legends? Russell Celyn Jones thinks not as he tracks back through the Mabinogion. Niall Griffiths and Malcolm Pryce retread their way through Aberystwyth. If you think you knew that place then think again. Joe Dunthorne turns fiction into film. Tom Anderson hunts for that place where the fact of travel becomes the fiction of the mind.

Spend a long weekend with us at an engaging and comfortable retreat in the lost Gwaun Valley of the slow far west. The older ways may indeed be nearer the surface here but see how our new writers can make them spin.

Tickets cost just £100 per person OR £90 per person for Academi Members and Associates. This rate is based on two people sharing a double or twin room.

Ticket price includes entrance to all events plus 1 night's accommodation, lunch and three course evening meal on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday.
